When I Am Weak You Raise Me Up

Friends, it's like this: Jesus said the world hated Him. And, he also said that IF the world hated Him, then the world would hate YOU or ME if we choose to follow Him.

He said he would be persecuted and crucified. He also said that worse things than what has happened to HIM would happen to US.

He ALSO said that if we endured to the end that WE WOULD BE SAVED and what would happen to those who persecute and condemn us would NOT.

Is it worth it to me to be ridiculed, cast out, accused, and persecuted for HIS NAME's SAKE? YOU BET!

If you are not getting flack for being a Christian, all I can say is you need to question your stand.

2 Corinthians 12:10

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

God does not condone the evil that is on this earth today, but He allows it because He loves us and wants people to CHOOSE to love Him. Jesus said

John 15:13

No greater love hath any man, than that he would lay down his life for a friend.

Then, He called us "friends". (John 15:12-15)

The Bible has a lot to say against people who would force you to choose something you are against. Only the strong survive in God's world. Only the strong will inherit the Kingdom God. Paul said it best,

Ephesians 6:13

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Remember, God does not win souls through fear. He provides a way OUT of that fear through Jesus. (2 Timothy 1:7) There is no Saviour under Allah like that. All the followers of Allah want to do is kill, destroy and create chaos. There is no liberty under Allah!

Finally,

1 Peter 2: 15

For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
