Started in early 1996, The Bible Study Site is one of the OLDEST and MOST POPULAR Internet sites dedicated to making helpful and easy-to-use study materials available to the public. ALL site content is available FREE without having to create an account or having to log in!
BibleStudy.org is a wholly independent Web site that is not owned, operated, sponsored or controlled in any way whatsoever by any church, group or religious denomination. Although some believe otherwise, we are not Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Seventh-Day Adventists, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, etc. Site content is almost entirely created by the site Webmaster or one of site's volunteers. It therefore does not represent the views of ANY church denomination. Although the site uses the Holy Bible in Its Original Order - A Faithful Version for many of its scriptural quotes (because of its accurate translation), we also use the KJV, NKJV, NIV and others where appropriate.
This site offers a plethora of study materials at three levels of understanding: Beginner for those just starting to study God's word, Basic for those who have some study experience and In Depth articles for those wishing to delve into the details of doctrine. We also offer a growing bible library of reference books, maps, timelines, charts, pictures, and other tools that will help you deepen your understanding of God's word.
Since late 2002, the site has also offered Personalized Answers to Bible questions that are submitted to BibleStudy.org. This special and unique service is staffed by a team of mature Christian volunteers who average more than 25 years as a believer. Known collectively as the Email Evangelists, these hard-working folks have handled more than 14,000 Emails since the service started! Visit our list of the most popular answers to questions sent in by the public!
We are often asked what is our doctrinal statement or our statement of beliefs. Since we are independent and unaffiliated with any denomination or church group, we do not have an "official" beliefs statement per se. However, for those wishing to review some of the basic teachings the site supports, please visit the below article.
