“And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.”
God created for man a place of comfort -- a place where man could have all he desired to want, and could live a fulfilled and satisfying life. Then, He put man in it.
This is what God wanted for man or He would not have put him there. This is what God wants for us ultimately.
