The Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. will display artifacts from Israel.
According to TheBlaze.com, the Museum of the Bible has reached an agreement with the National Treasures Department at the Israel Antiquities Authority. Micky Saban, head of the authority, said the Israeli artifacts will include items from the Canaanite period and the First and Second Temples.
The Museum of the Bible, which is privately funded, is slated to open in 2017 and will display the personal collection of the museum’s founder, Steve Green. His collection includes tablets from Abraham’s time, biblical papyri, Dead Sea Scroll pieces and rare Bibles.
